We now offer three levels of virtual imagery swimming pool design service. These visualisations will help you gain a more realistic impression of how your pool project will appear when completed. The 3-D fully rendered model can demonstrate colour schemes, lighting effects and more.
Level 1 will provide an auto-CAD image

Concrete Pools
Concrete Pools are widely considered the "crème de la crème” of swimming pools. Neptune Swimming Pools specialise in the design and construction of concrete pools. Construction involves excavation of the pool shape followed by the installation of steel bars to give the structure strength. A specialist shuttering block is used and this is infilled with reinforced, vibrated concrete which creates the retaining super structure. Specialist waterproofing render is then applied. Finally, the pool shell can be finished in a variety of ways determined by your preference.
Finishes could include:
Mosaic Tiles , Large Porcelain Tiles, Glass Tiles, Stone, Pebbles or any material that can be laid and is water and chemical resistant.
Design Styles
"Skimmer Pools" are the most usual design of pool. This design form is where the water is lower than the top of the pool wall and the surface water is drawn off by means of a box (skimmer) in the wall. As the skimming facility works very efficiently, the filtration cycle is usually quicker. This usually results in better heating and chemical balance with this type of pool.
An alternative design that has gained popularity in recent years is a "Deck Level" swimming pool. With this design, the pool’s water surface is level with the surround and overflows the pool wall into a Balance Tank underground.
Certain factors must be taken into account with the deck level design:

The balance tank will require extra room underground.

A catchment channel level with the pool surround will be required on all sides.

As more space is required, more materials will be needed which will impact on cost.
